Introduction
PinDown obtains information about images from various sites by generating requests to the servers corresponding to these sites using user's browser.
User must log in manually using their browser to the services that PinDown supports.
To make requests on a number of sites (like language domains of pinterest.com), PinDown uses tokens that have passed authorization on this site user had logged in (in case it is authorized).
Tokens are transferred only to those servers from which they were received. Requests are sent over the encrypted protocol HTTPS. The interaction is carried out within the current user session, and no sensitive user data is transmitted outside the servers from which they were received.
With PinDown, the end user can save images for personal usage to devices for storing information from pinterest.com, instagram.com, behance.net, tumblr.com and others. PinDown is not related to image authors, does not store, does not cache, does not transfer these images anywhere other than the Chrome browser APIs and encourages users to consider copyright.
