Collect your image collection on the internet - is an easy task. All you have to do is make a couple of clicks.

You can use your image collections, for example, to create a design for your house or you can get inspired by other people's collections all around the world.

You can download on your computer storage few images you need to work with just using the tools which social networks provide.

But, you start to feel difficulties when you want to download images you've been collecting for many years.

PinDown provides you the possibility to download a large number of images on your computer just for one click. Chosen images are downloaded in the maximum possible resolution.

How it works

When you visit supported resources, the app is being activated immediately.

The activation process happens in a user browser without any redirections on the third-party resources (except Sentry.io for code errors debugging).

If the user launches the extension shell by tapping on a PinDown badge and then on the appeared interface push the download button, a few processes are activated:
- the app parses json data from the current page;
- finds images with the highest resolution;
- sends a download signal to the current browser;
- then browser downloads images and videos in the provided earlier directory.

As you can conclude - the application does not store or transmit somewhere personal / downloaded content information / any media data. It works only like a data downloader, being an intermediary for automation between the user and the browser.
